OKARA - More than 25 armed culprits attacked to capture the land of a farmer and destroyed standing maize crop here the other day. The police said that M Rafi, a resident of Phulerwan Wazeerkey lodged a complaint in which he alleged that 25 armed people included Saleem, Nasir, Zubair, Nasir, Aslam, Umer, Waqas attacked to capture his land. They opened aerial firing and attempted to pressurised him.
He alleged that they destroyed standing maize and paddy crops worth Rs0.4 million.
The police have registered a case against the accused.
