PESHAWAR – The members of business community at a condolence reference on Wednesday demanded of the federal government to announce Nishan-e-Haider (highest military award) for the slain ANP leader, Bashir Ahmad Bilour, and termed his death a great loss for Pakistan.The demand was made through a resolution unanimously adopted at a condolence reference organized by Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Peshawar to pay tribute to ANP’s slain leader and Khyber Paktunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour here. On the occasion, Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, FPCCI Vice President, Peshawar, Zubair Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Laws and Parliamentary Affairs, Arshad Abdullah, JUI Deputy parliamentary leader in KP Assembly, Kifayatullah, younger son of the ANP slain leader, Usman Ahmad Bilour, members of business community, Iranian Consul General, Peshawar, Hassan Darvish Vind, renowned industrialists Mohsin Aziz, Malik Niaz Ahmad, and SCCI Vice President Malik Iftikhar Awan, and the chamber’s executive body members were present at the reference.The leader of Businessmen Forum, Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, while addressing on the occasion, said that the ANP’s slain leader has given his life for peace, and against the terrorism. He termed that it was great liability on Pakhtuns, and the whole nation to carry his mission after assassination of Bashir Ahmad Bilour. “It was a major responsibility upon the entire Pakhtuns and entire nation to complete the mission of his elder brother”, Senator Ilyas Bilour said. He added that Bashir was a brave and steadfast political leader, who has rendered his life for the sake of peace and stood firm against terrorism. He said that the sacrifice of Bashir Ahmad was not only a great pride for Bilour family, but also for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan, who fought for the survival of the state. “We salute to courage and bravery of the Bilour,” he remarked. Other speakers, including Senator Ghulam Ali, Kifayatullah, Arshad Abdullah and members of business community paid glowing tributes to the services Bashir Bilour.
