ISLAMABAD - Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday condemning the suicide attack on a bus carrying pilgrims at Akhtarabad near Quetta city, said the cowardly attacks by the terrorist cannot and will not weaken the resolve of Pakistani people and law enforcing agencies to fight them to the finish. He, in a statement, said that terrorists want to divide the Pakistan nation through sectarian violence but the conspiracy will not succeed.
Pakistani people believe in unity and interfaith and intersect harmony, the principle taught to us by the father of nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Asif Ali Zardari prayed to Almighty Allah to rest in peace the deceaseds’ souls and early recovery of injured. He also asked the government to provide compensation to the bereaved families and proper medical care to those injured.
He also paid tribute to law enforcing personals for performing their duty with commitment and dedication.
