LAHORE -  Maryam Nawaz Sharif again made social media her battlefield on Tuesday for her war of words against opponents over Sharifs’ visit to Saudi Arabia and Imran Khan’s bail in four terror cases.

Replying to Imran Khan and others, who held Sharifs’ visit to Saudi Arabia some sort of investigation in corruption matter, Maryam said there was a limit to lies which he had crossed. “Are royal planes sent with respect to get a person for investigation,” she questioned. Addressing Khan she tweeted, “How many lies would you utter after-all you also have to appear before God.”

She also tweeted about the return of Nawaz Sharif yesterday and his travelling along with her to Islamabad on Wednesday (today) for appearance before the accountability court hearing references against them. She further tweeted that God saved Nawaz on those occasions about which he was quite blind.

Later in the afternoon she again tweeted when the anti-terrorism court Islamabad granted bail to Imran Khan in four cases registered in connection with the PTI dharna of 2014 when the mob had entered the PTV building, Parliament House and thrashed the police officers. Nawaz Sharif and Maryam, who had already dubbed Imran Khan as Ladla of the judiciary after PML-N petition for his disqualification was rejected by the Supreme Court last month, sarcastically tweeted, “Ladla had to get the court relief under any circumstance.” Later, when Imran Khan tweeted that the court had declared him Sadiq and Ameen and on the ATC verdict he said, ‘My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist,’ Maryam tweeted, ‘Your name is Khan and you are a puppet.’
