KASUR - DIG Rawalpindi Range Ch Naveed Rauf visited Kasur District Jail on directions of the Punjab IG Prison where he inspected security, cleanliness and facilities for prisoners here the other day.
Jail Superintendent Shahid Riaz and deputy superintendent Haq Nawaz accompanied him. The DIG enquired from prisoners about the facilities they were being rendered.
He also listened to their problems and ordered the officials concerned for solution. DIG Naveed expressed satisfaction over security and cleanliness on the jail premises and the quality of foodstuff the prisoners were being served. He advised the jail staff to maintain the standards. The DIG awarded the staffers with cash prizes and commendatory certificates for brilliant performance.
