Professor Hafeez given remarkable farewell on Twitter

After the retirement of Pakistan veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, the cricket fraternity flanked by fans rushed to Twitter to give him a remarkable farewell.

According to cricket fans, the deadly spin bowling attack of Pakistan's side has ended today. The deadly group comprised Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, and Mohammad Hafeez.

In his 18 years of cricket journey, Professor represented Pakistan in 392 international matches, scoring 12,780 runs and taking 253 wickets, besides also captaining the side in 32 international matches. He was a member of the Pakistan side that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England and Wales.

Apart from being on the field, he was very supportive when it comes to off-field.

National team skipper Babar Azam, all-rounder Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, and many others have given a farewell to Professor in different styles. While fans and cricket experts termed Hafeez's retirement "End of an Era." They said that his batting style and services to Pakistan cricket can never be forgotten. The reactions are lined below:

Wicketkeeper batter Rizwan wrote, "I pray the best for you and your family."

Senior Sports Journalist Azhar Khan, while sharing farewell compliments to the Professor, said, "Hafeez will be remembered by fans and Pakistan cricket team."

On the eve, famous cricket statistician Israr Ahmed is hoping that PCB media will make a video on Mohammad Hafeez's international career.
