MALAKWAL - The residents of the city have demanded the authorities shift the vegetable and fruit markets outside from the populated area of the city. There are so many vegetable and fruit markets on the Jinnah Road and in the main bazaar of the city .The are the main hurdles in flow of the traffic in city. Ignorance of management of the TMA Malakwal is that the commission shops hold their auctions of vegetables and fruit on the main road ever morning but no official ever came to stop them to note illegally-occupied the road and not to block the traffic. The owners of these commission shops are politically have strong backing so no one could take step against them, the local residents maintained. The people have demanded the chief minister take notice of problem of the masses. Kidnap attempt foiled: An attempt to kidnap a man was foiled by the people and the criminals arrested. As per detail, two persons namely Jamil and Munwar Ahmad tried to kidnap a trader Muhammad Aslam Warriach, a resident of Shadhan Wali who was going in car. But the attempt made foil by the local people near Bank Al-falah here the other day. Dacoits kill trader: One Shehbaz Fareed, son of Ghulam Farid a resident of Shadiwal village, was murdered by dacoits while he was returning from Rato Kala village to his home near Dhorri Wala bridge. As per detail, Shehbaz Farid a local trader was on way to home when unknown dacoits intercepted him near Dhorri Wala Bridge. When he offered resistance, the dacoits killed him on the spot. The police have registered a murder case. In another incident, three dacoits stormed into the house of one Rana Akram in Rugg village here the other night. They made hostage the inmates and took away 3,00,000 and other valuables. The police have registered a case.
