ISLAMABAD (APP) The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Saturday urged the Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA) for shifting of the workshops to I-10 sector so that existing problems could be solved. Acting President ICCI Syed Adil Anis stated this while speaking to a delegation of Traders Welfare Association (TWA) here, said a statement issued by the Chamber here. Anis, was of the view that, 15-year ago, CDA has planned to shift auto and steel workshops outside the city because several problems had been created due to these workshops. A delegation of TWA, G-7/1 Auto Market led by its Chairman, Raja Safeer visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) was comprised Munawar Mughal, Khalid Mehmud Chaudary, Naveed Malik, Abas Hashmi, Nisar Mira, Aurangzaib and Ch. Aslam. Mr.Anis said that as a result of limited auction, 335 plots have been allotted to I-10/3 and now this auto market was completely functional. He added that CDA did not allocate the remaining plots to other workshops as well as auction them. Raja Safeer, Chairman TWA said that their market was located nearest to CDAs offices, but the authority did not pay attention to their problems. He appealed to the Chairman, CDA and Member Engineering to solve the problems of the market and issue notices in this regard.
