OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE The Punjab Bar Council on Saturday asked the government to remove Jhang DPO (District Police Officer) within two weeks or they would resort to a daily boycott of courts throughout the province. The DPO is protecting the dacoits who looted valuables and tortured family members of advocate Asghar Sarghana, said Executive Committee Chairman Zafar Iqbal Mughal while addressing a press conference. Zafar said Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and Inspector General of Police had committed with them to replace the DPO, but no headway has so far been made in this regard. The lawyer said the legal fraternity across the province would go on a daily boycott of the court if the DPO was not replaced within two weeks.
