ISLAMABAD - Asking PML-N to stop meddling into the affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Saturday said the Kashmiri people have the right to express their opinion and no one could be allowed to encroach on their right to elect representatives of their own choice. Talking to media after meeting with AJK Prime Minister Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan he said that the AJK should resolve its issues through its own political parties. He was of the view that the interference of Pakistani political parties in Kashmir gives a bad impression of Pakistan at the international level. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, who was also present in the meeting, said that Kashmir was and would always be the jugular vein of the nation and it was important for all the political parties to show unity and solidarity on this most important national issue. He said the interference in Azad Kashmir elections was being disliked by the world and this could cause damage to the Kashmir cause. Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Ateeq Ahmad Khan thanked Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for adhering to the Quaid-e-Azams policy of non-interference in Kashmir politics.
