QUETTA Law-enforcement agencies found no clue of kidnapped Swiss couple despite police, Levies and Balochistan Frontier Corps have started joint efforts to trace the kidnappers and recover the couple on Saturday. Swiss couple, Divid Oliver Och and Daniela Widmer had entered into Pakistan from India on June 28 and crossed into Balochistan on July 1st via Dera Ghazi Khan, was kidnapped near Kill Sanara, some 12 KM away from Loralai town. A search operation started by Levies and Frontier Corps Balochistan along with police besides seeking the help of tribal notables throughout the day of Saturday, but their efforts yet to yield fruit. Deputy Commissioner Loralai district, Sohail-ur- Rahman told The Nation that all-out efforts were being made to recover the Swiss couple and the focus of search operation is Zhob district bordering Afghanistan and tribal areas. The local administration apprehends that the Swiss couple might have been be taken to tribal areas and handed over to militant groups, he said, adding that tribal elders of three districts Killa Saifullah, Loralai and Zhob had been approached for help regarding the recovery of the two foreigners. He said that hopefully, the administration might find a clue by the night or Sunday (today).
