KARACHI -Agencies have warned of possible terrorist attack in the City by defunct terrorist organisations.

Intelligence agencies have informed that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, associated with Naeem Bukhari and Asif Chuhto groups of outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, have planned to carry out terrorist activities in the port city.  It further stated that the terrorists can carried out attack by using explosive laden vehicle, motorcycle bomb and target killings. They can target the officials and personnel of the military, rangers, police, prominent personalities, including politicians, elected MNAs, MPAs, leadership of PPP, MQM, ANP and also public gathering.

The law enforcers have been asked to beef up security and enhanced snap checking and patrolling in the City to avoid any untoward incident. Security agencies start random raids in the areas dominated by outlawed defunct organisations to prevent any untoward incident.
