The Quality Enhancement Cell of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) held a one-day seminar on plagiarism for faculty members and students here at UET on Tuesday.  Director QEC, Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, was the speaker. The topics covered in the seminar included plagiarism, tools available for plagiarism detection, problems faced by authors with regard to plagiarism checking and ways to avoid plagiarism in thesis writing and publications.–Staff Reporter
