ISLAMABAD - Zeeshan Akram (67) and Saqib Ali (56) helped ICA West Zone to demolish Gilgit-Baltistan with a 10-wicket win in the PCB Islamabad Region Inter-District U-19 Tournament 2013 here at National Ground. After getting Gilgit-Baltistan out for 150, West Zone piled up 263 in 68.3 overs with Zeeshan Akram hitting 67 and Saqib Ali 56. In the second innings, Gilgit-Baltistan managed 124 with M Yasin claiming 4-36. West Zone needed six runs to win which they achieved without losing a wicket. West Zone were runners-up while Central Zone won the championship with 21 points. West Zone secured 18 points, North Zone nine, Gilgit-Baltistan three while East Zone remained pointless. Umer Abid Kiani hit 136 to pave a way for ICA North Zone to secure three first innings points against ICA East Zone. –Staff Reporter
