Tahira's killers should be arrested: Altaf

KARACHI- Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) London-based leader, Altaf Hussain, today pressed the government to expedite investigation into Member National Assembly (MNA) Tahira Asif murder case.
“Why are her killers still at large? The long arm of the law must have reached their necks by now. They should have been facing a befittin punishment. How long would it take before justice will prevail?” said he in a statement issued from London.
Altaf said that at least three MQM lawmakers had been killed over the last three years but justice was never served. “They were victimized for their rightful struggle against injustice,” said the MQM leader. MQM MNA Taihra  Asif was shot and fatally injured  in a broad day light on June 18, 2014 in Lahore.
