Holbrooke says US aid for IDPs insufficient

US Special Representative Richard Holbrooke has called 110 million dollar US aid for the displaced persons of Malakand as insufficient adding that the United States will provide more aid for the displaced persons. The US special envoy has reached Islamabad on three-day visit of Pakistan today to assess humanitarian situation in the Malakand division. In an interview Holbrooke said President Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif have agreed over the 17th constitutional amendment. He said Pakistan military have been provided infrared telescopes to see the movement in darkness. The US envoy said four modern MI-1 helicopters will be provided to Pakistan within few days.
