THERE were reports circulating on the internet that Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban were looking to expand their family by adopting a Vietnamese baby, but according to Nicoles rep there is no truth to the rumours. Dang Minh Dao, deputy of the Department of International Adoption at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi told Australian magazine New Idea, Yes, Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. Weve been approached by the American Embassy. He refused to say whether the couple had discussed having a boy or a girl, saying: This is very sensitive information. We are keeping it closed. But Nicoles rep was quick to clear up the rumours telling Hollyscoop exclusively that there is no truth to the adoption rumours. Nicole has come back and said that its a complete fabrication, its completely untrue. Its rubbish, her Australian publicist Wendy Day told AAP news agency. They have never spoken to anybody in that regard in regard of any form of adoption in Vietnam. New Idea magazine is reportedly standing by its story, citing Vietnamese adoption officials. Kidman, 41, who has a daughter, Sunday Rose, recently dismissed rumours she was pregnant with her second child. Her rep added that Nicole and Keith never spoke to the magazine, nor did they discuss any plans to adopt with the publication. -PR Inside Guess Sunday Rose will have to wait a little while longer before getting a sibling. Meanwhile, Woodly Allen has found a replacement for Nicole Kidman for his new movie. Lucy Punch will now play her part in his next flick. The British actress wowed the writer-director with a screen test and secured the role that Kidman had taken in March and vacated weeks later because of a scheduling conflict. The film will shoot in London in the summer. Punch also will appear in Young Americans, a Universal Pictures comedy scheduled for release in January. -PR Inside
