LAHORE In connection with June 3, 1947 announcement about establishment of Pakistan a discussion would be held on the subject Vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for a strong Pakistan at 5pm at Quaid-i-Azam Library here on Thursday (today). Former Judge of the supreme court, Manzoor Hussain Sial would preside over the programme, while Engineer Shamsul Mulk, Group Cap (r) Sikandar, Justice (r) Nasira Iqbal, Bushra Rehman, Brig Hamid Saeed and Ahmar Bilal Sufi speak on the occasion. It may be recalled that on June 3, 1947, Viceroy of India Lord Mount Batton had announced the division of India and creation of Pakistan on Radio after this formula was accepted by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Jawahar Lal Nehru. At the end of his speech on radio the same day, Quaid-e-Azam had chanted the slogan Pakistan Zindabad (long live Pakistan) first time for an independent and separate homeland for the Muslims of India.
