QUETTA-A trader was killed in Tump area of Turbat on Wednesday while rockets were fired on check post of Frontier Corps (FC) in Mand area of Makran division. According to polices sources, unknown motorcyclists killed a cloth trader in Tump area of Turbat. The victim was identified as Hakeem, hailing from a Pakhtun tribe. However, motive behind killing is yet to be ascertained. Police handed over the body to heirs after autopsy and registered a case against unknown assailants. In another incident, militants fired three rockets on a check post of FC located in Mand, a bordering town with Iran. The sources said that the rockets missed their target and landed in deserted area, causing no damage to life and property. Militants escaped when FC personnel fired in retaliation. Meanwhile, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused an explosive device planted outside the residence of Balochistan Provincial Minister Syed Ehsan Shah in Turbat. The officials of BDS defused explosive device and said it weighed about 15 kilograms. Police has registered a case and started investigations.
