CHINIOT - Six labourers were killed and two others seriously injured in the explosion in a local factory at the Lahore Road here. Labourers were mixing explosive substance for blasting stone in the factory. Suddenly the material went off. As a result, the labourers were killed. Muhammad Aslam s/o Lal Khan hailing from Chak 13 JB, Nasir Ali s/o Manzoor from Chak 14 JB Kalroo, Jafar Ali s/o Jalal Din from Chak 14 Kalroo and, Mubashir Hassan s/o Dost Muhammad from Mouza Qazi Harlan died on the spot. While four others were shifted to a District Headquarters Hospital Faisalabad where two of them succumbed to their injuries. Police has handover the dead body to the relatives after post-mortem. In separate incidents, two persons were murdered on the other day. The first incident took place in Moza Changran Wala where Muhammad Arif was sleeping with his family. Dacoits intruded into his house. As he put resistance, the robbers gunned him down and ran away. In the second incident, Mazhar Bhatti and Nawaz installed jointly a tubewell for their lands. The former asked the latter to supply him water for his land but Nawaz refused. As a result, Mazhar killed him. In the third incident, a dumper killed a motorcyclist near Lalian at the Sargodha Road. The dumper killed Zafat Bhatti who was going to Chiniot from Lalian on a motorcycle with his friend.
