TOBA TEK SINGH - Two persons including a woman were murdered in separate incident here on Thursday. In the first incident, over a matrimonial dispute a youth namely Habibur Rehman, their relatives Yaseen along with his accomplices shot dead Habibs mother. The Rajana Police have registered a case and were raiding to arrest the accused persons. Meanwhile, a man Mehrban Maseeh was shot dead by his opponents over an old enmity in Chak 296/GB. The City Police have registered a case against Babar Maseeh and his accomplices. Workshop begins: Faisalabad Bishop Joseph Coutts inaugurated a two-day orientation workshop on Livestock Vaccination Programme that is being supported by Caritas Pakistan. The workshop was participated by male and female cattle farmers, veterinary assistants and village Committee members. Speaking on the occasion, Bishop Joseph Coutts said that livestock contributes 11% per cent to total GDP. District Officer Livestock Dr Zahid Hussain stated that animals had been the source of food and income for majority of the people in the country. Area Coordinator Sadaqat Sardar and Khalid Rasheed Assi also spoke on the occasion. The livestock vaccination will be done during workshop for Hemorrhagic Septicaemia, Foot and mouth disease, Enterotoxaemia and new castle diseases. De-worming will also be done to all kinds of animals.
