LAHORE - Thousands of books have been sold at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS)s first annual book fair - 2011 organised by Librarian staff. The students from Ravi campus Pattoki, College of Veterinary Science Jhang and official from livestock and dairy development department visited event and took keen interest to select the books including animal husbandry, animal food nutrition, pathology and varied subjects. The closing ceremony was attended by dean faculty of veterinary science Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad. He said that book reading is developing the innovation and creativity and leads towards the leadership. Director institute of continuing education and extension Dr Aneel Zameer Durani remarked that only book reading can lead to quality research.
