LAHORE - The City School Saturday organised a theatre extravaganza of all pre-junior school children, titled ‘Little Big Acts – Season Two’, at Alhamra, The Mall.
The City School’s CEO and Regional Directors were present on the occasion. The event included innovative theatrical performances by young, pre-junior students. The programme started with a spectacular performance by the school’s very own marching band, after which the mesmerising opening act amased the audience with their circus performance.
On the occasion, the coordinator of the programme Tayyabah Amer said, “Theatrical activities give numerous learning opportunities to the students. They help children understand and explore the very world they live in.” It was followed by a performance by the kindergartners of Gulberg Nursery Branch, which revolved around the need for world peace.
A stage play, titled “Stuck in the Magic”, was then presented by the Wapda Town Branch, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The play’s moral was true friendship and how it can help overcome the toughest circumstances.
