LAHORE - Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust held yesterday a thanksgiving ceremony for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after his successful heart surgery at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan.

Presiding over the sitting, NPT chairman Rafique Tarar observed that when Allah shows mercy to a nation, he bestows on it such leaders as are actuated by benevolence, generosity, and a true passion for the welfare of the common masses.

The sitting was organised in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust. 

Former President of Pakistan and NPT Chairman Muhammad Rafique Tarar, NPT Vice-Chairman Professor Dr. Rafique Ahmad, Chief Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan, Mian Farooq Altaf, Begum Safia Ishaq, Nawab Barkat Mehmood, Sheikh Sana Ullah, Dr Yaqub Zia, Naila Umar and larger number of Muslim league workers and people from different walks of life took part in the ceremony

Dr Rafique Ahmad paid tribute to both the government and opposition law makers for displaying marvelous sagacity and forbearance at this critical juncture and preventing any trace of chaos and confusion from emerging.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan observed that there emerge certain situations in the life of a nation where the existence of certain personages becomes indispensable. Under the prevailing circumstances, the continuation of Mian Nawaz Sharif’s premiership is utmost necessary.
