PESHAWAR - Seventeen po­licemen were dismissed from service and another 50 cops were suspended for their alleged involve­ment in corruption and other malpractices.

Speaking to The Nation, DPO Dr Iqbal said that he took the action on pub­lic complaints about the cops deployed at check­posts in the Landikotal and Jamrud subdivisions.
