Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that people are suffering from hunger and poverty.
In a statement, the PML-N leader said that the people are not getting food due to insufficient income and increasing inflation. The prices of fundamental items are touching the sky, he added.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif said, "The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is unaware of economy and nation’s problems."
He said that the general masses are facing troubles in livelihood due to increasing inflation. Economic figures presented by the government are unreliable and a clear betrayal to the nation, the PML-N president stated.
