ISLAMABAD(Online)-Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here in Presidency on Monday after completion of his visit to US. During the meeting, they discussed the issues pertaining to the meetings of COAS with US defence leadership, Swat Peace Accord and national security situation in detail. Reliable sources told that President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated COAS, General Ishfaq Pervez Kiyani for his successful visit to US. He said that the visit of COAS would further strengthen the existing defence ties between the two countries, adding, that it will also fulfil Pak defence needs. While briefing President Asif Ali Zardari about his visit, the COAS told that he had informed US administration about Pakistan's concern over the increasing drone attacks. He told Zardari that during his meetings with US leadership he had informed US admin about the Pakistan stance The sources in Defence Ministry did not confirm the meeting between the two leaders. While sources in Presidency told that it was a not scheduled meeting and Asif Ali Zardari also hosted a dinner in honour of COAS.
