Traders to go on strike on Friday

LAHORE - The Muslim Tajir Ittehad Lahore Monday announced to observe complete shutter down strike on Friday to express solidarity with Sharif brothers. The traders ittehad also announced to stage protest demonstrations across the Punjab capital against the disqualification of Sharif brothers. According to a press release issued on Monday, president Lahore Kiryana and General Merchants Association Rao Mohammad Akram Khan said that the trader leaders have taken the decision to this effect during an urgent meeting. A good number of trade leaders also attended the meeting. They said that the all the trader would observe complete shutter down strike in the City on Friday and would also participates in the rallies to protest against the Governor's rule in Punjab. They further said that they would continue protests till the restoration of independent judiciary and democracy in the country. They also demanded of the President of Pakistan to sack the Governor Punjab and restore democracy in the province so that the public could be provided justice.
