RAWALPINDI Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi has acquitted six persons allegedly involved in the attack on a school bus carrying children of armed forces personnel in Kamra on December 10, 2007. Eight persons including five children were injured in the attack. The ATC Judge Malik Muhammad Akram Awan on Tuesday acquitted the accused including Khair Malang, Hafiz Saeedul Akbar, Israrul Haq, Amin Khan, Fareed Khan and Ghulam Nabi in the absence of any substantial evidence against them. Earlier, the court had initiated the trial against the accused. Saddar police, Attock, had arrested these suspected terrorists for their alleged involvement in the attack, when a suicide bomber exploded his car near a bus of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) in 2007. The attacked bus was carrying the children of PAF employees. Only the attacker was killed in the attack.
