At least four persons were killed and several others injured in various violent incidents in different localities of the city on Saturday.

According to police, unknown armed men gunned two security guards of a private company in Block IV of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and fled the scene.

The deceased identified as Salim Nawaz and Imran were close relatives. It was feared that the shooting incident could be outcome of family feud. The police sealed the office of the company and started the investigations.

In Baldia town armed men shot dead one person. The body was moved to hospital where identity of the deceased was yet to be confirmed.

In yet another incident of violence, an unidentified man was shot dead near Tora Bangash check post in Orangi Town.

In other incidents of firing, at least eight persons were injured in different areas of the city including Lyari, Shah Faisal Colony, Gulshan Iqbal, Sohrab Goth, Hazara Colony and other areas. The injured were shifted to different hospitals of the concerned areas.

In an unfortunate tragedy, a reckless driven over speeding trailer crushed to death three motorcyclists Friday-Saturday night while injuring another.

According to details, a speedy trailer rammed over a motorcycle carrying four people at Chamra chorangi in Korangi colony of the city.

As a result three riders were killed and another injured, while the motorbike was completed destroyed.

Infuriated people tried to torch the vehicle but police saved it from burning completely.

The police took the trailer into custody and started the investigation to arrest the driver who fled from the scene for fear of life.
