LAHORE – The Lahore High Court on Friday directed the Civil Lines SP to recover missing actress Sapna Khan and produce her before court with in one weak.
Justice Sheikh Najam-ul-Hassan observed that Sapna Khan was missing since June last year and so far police could not recover her.
The police told the court that since June 2010, Sapna Khan was not seen and her bank account was also not operated and even according to record she had not left the country.
Former chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa had also approached the court seeking recovery of his ex-wife Sapna Khan and case against her family.
Misal Khan, father of missing Ms Zeba Khan alias Sapna Khan, through his counsel Azhar Siddque submitted that he had been going from pillar and post in search of justice but police were not registering kidnapping and alleged murder case of his daughter who went missing months ago from the GOR-I residence of Khosa.
He pointed out that he had secured orders from courts bit police were not lodging FIR despite recording his statement. He said Khosa belonged to Punjab ruling party of PML-N and using his influence to stop police from lodging case. The petitioner said his daughter Sapna Khan told him that she had been going to 12-B Ackmen road GOR-1 the residence of the respondent Dost Muhammad Khosa She informed him that her husband Dost Muhammad Khosa asked her to come on the above said place but she did not return. Misal Khan further said that two of the cell phones of his daughter Sapna Khan were switched off after her departure and when he dialled the number of his husband Khosa he also did not responded.
