SADIQABAD - All Pakistan Clerks Association Central President Nazar Hussain Korai along with Apca's provincial leaders would meet with Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim during the current week to sensitise him to the government employees' problems, disclosed local office-bearers.
Apca district secretary general Mehboob Khan said that the Apca leadership would inform the elections commissioner of the problems they face during the duties at polling stations during elections.
They would discuss various issues like ensuring deployment of Army personnel at polling stations, making easy the vote costing process of the government employees, transport facility, increase in wages and immediate payment, and increase in the presiding officers' powers, he added.
He noted that during duty hours, the employees have to face difficulties therefore steps should be taken in this regard.
