SIALKOT - Four unidentified armed motorcyclists looted gold ornaments and cash at gunpoint from a bride soon after leaving a beauty parlour for a marriage hall for her wedding in Bhopalwala Town Sambrial tehsil here on Saturday.

Reportedly, village Begowala based Malik Azmat Ali's sister had gone to a beauty parlour in Bhopalwala for bridal make up for her wedding ceremony. After becoming a bride from there she was going back towards a marriage hall for her wedding, when four unknown armed motorcyclists halted her car, made the bride and her fellows hostage at gunpoint and looted 14 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs6,000 and fled away. However, the bride's family got her reached the marriage hall before the arrival of her Baraat.

Earlier, the accused also looted 4 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs10,000 at gunpoint from village Chor Munda Pasrur tehsil based Qamar Hussain and his family, who were going back to home after attending a wedding ceremony at Bhopalwala. The Sambrial Police have registered separate cases.
