SHEIKHUPURA - The City A Division Police picked up a net café owner on charges of making counterfeit driving licences, academic documents and domiciles. However, the police have not yet registered any case against him.

As per detail, Ijaz, owner of International Café situated in Stadium Shopping Centre was arrested after a tip-off by the police. Reportedly, he had been involved in issuing fake driving licence, academic certificates, degrees, domicile and other documents.

Talking to this scribe on condition of not to be named a local legal expert said that the issuance of fake and fictitious documents was a heinous offence if the police did not adopt "Muk Maka policy" the net cafe owner would have to face serious punishment.

The social circles of the city demanded a stern action against the owner.
