SIALKOT - President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Koobay Chak-Bajwat Sialkot here on Sunday (today). He is visiting Sialkot on the invitation by Federal Minister for National Regulation and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.
Dr Firdous told the newsmen that President Asif Zardari, flanked by Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood and federal ministers will address a big public meeting at Koobay Chak-Bajwat, besides, inaugurating the newly-established Khushnood Rizvi Memorial Maternity Hospital near village Koobay Chak, old age home " Maskan" at Malkey Kalan here on Sunday.
President Zardari will also announce a mega development package for the uplift of Bajwat villages. She said that the delegations of SCCI, Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), PPP provincial leadership, party workers and lawyers would also meet the President at Koobay Chak. She said that it would be a great political show of PPP in Bajwat as all the necessary arrangements had been finalised for the President's visit. President Zardari would be accorded a warm welcome upon his arrival at Koobay Chak-Bajwat, she added.
