Turkey cited as example for development

MULTAN - Provincial minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Labour and Manpower Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi lashed out at the federal government on Saturday, saying the president and prime minister had become symbols of kickbacks and rental power scandal respectively.
Addressing the participants of a Third Eye Competition organised by Pak-Turk School here, he added that Turkey became one of the 16 highly developed countries of the world because of concerted efforts made by entire Turk nation.
 "But we cannot neglect the role of Turk President and Prime Minister. It is their leadership that has brought laurels to their country," he added.
He expressed gratitude to the Turk Government and citizens for extending valuable support to Punjab for different education and infrastructure projects.
Speaking on this occasion, Director of Pak-Turk NGO Schools Ibrahim said that the winner of competition in Pakistan went to Turkey for International Third Eye Competition.
He told the participants that Multan had the distinction of winning this competition for the last three consecutive years.
STUDENTS GET SOLAR LAMPS: Later on, the minister went to Haram Gate Islamia High School and distributed solar energy lamps among the students.
Speaking on this occasion, the ministers said that the Punjab Government left no stone unturned to uplift the education sector.
 said that the Punjab Government was determined to serve the masses.
He announced that the Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif would distribute laptops among the students at Bahauddin Zakariya University on Monday.
