Twenty junior diplomats from 19 countries will visit Head Marala barrage near Sialkot on Monday (today) and witness six-year water scarcity in River Chenab there caused due to blockage of water by India in Ricer Chenab towards Pakistan.

According to the senior officials of Foreign Service Academy of Pakistan, the visiting junior diplomats will also visit the Iqbal Manzil Sialkot, the birth place of Allama Iqbal, the Poet of the East, to pay homage to the great poet and philosopher.

They will then visit the grand project of Sialkot International Airport, the first ever project of Asia, which was built by Sialkot business community on self-help basis.

Later, the foreign diplomats will discuss in details the matters of mutual interest with Sialkot business community during an important meeting scheduled to be held at Sialkot Chamber of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
