Rawalpindi- Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has declared 351 centers of Matric exams sensitive and 50 extremely sensitive.
According to sources RBISE have taken several steps to arrange examinations in peaceful environment, for which security guards have been posted within the restriction of sensitive centers.
Students have to exhibit their roll number slips and ID cards. Car parking will not be allowed within the sensitive centers.
Around 121,000 students are appearing in annual exams of Matric, among them are 66538, 54603 males and females respectively. 90 are mutual centers of students, whereas 131, 130 are separates for them respectively.
Cadet College HasanAbdal, Lawrence College Murree, Army College Sareh Alamgir, Cadet College Kalar Khalar, Army Public Schools and Fauji Foundation School System have been marked as sensitive institutions. No schools in Rawalpindi areas have been included in the category of sensitive institutions.
According to RBISE’s plans, police force and security guards of particular department will be placed on duty and salary will be paid by board. Police will be patrolling in surrounding areas of centers. Student’s Parents will be allowed to enter the centre, but will be told to stay away from examination hall’s restriction. Strict checking and verification will be done, after which permission will be given to enter the center.
