‘Education sector improving by leaps and bounds’

The Punjab government has taken revolutionary steps for the promotion of education, said MPA Syed Abdul Aleem Shah.
He was addressing the annual results day ceremony held at Iqra Rozatul Itfal School here the other day.
He said that the Punjab Chief Minister had introduced a roadmap for education sector for next financial year 2015-16.
According to the roadmap, the Punjab government would be established 10 percent model schools in every district of province with modern facilities of the education. He said that 72,000 new rooms would also be constructed in the existing schools of district. Books and uniform would be provided to students free of cost in model schools, he disclosed.
Sardar Jamshid Ahmed Khan Lund also addressed the ceremony and announced free books and uniforms for orphan students of the school.
On the occasion, the school students presented a beautifully-choreographed welcome song and other performances on national songs.
Later, Principal Suleman Khan Balouch announced annual results of school and names of position-holders included Irim Batool, Marium Imran, Marium Shahid, Mudsar Ahmed, Aalia Zahara, Nida Fatima, Dua Fatima, Abdullah, Faizan Rehan and Bushra Nazeer.
MPA Syed Aleem Shah, Sardar Jamshid Ahmed Khan Lund, Sardar Rehnan Khan Lund and M Sikander Haider distributed prize trophy among position holders.
