LAHORE - A special anti-terrorism court on Monday awarded five-year imprisonment along with fine of Rs 20,000 to a man for distributing provocative literature among the people.

Anarkali Police arrested Khalil for distributing provocative material in the area and registered FIR against him. The judge, after hearing arguments of both sides, convicted him and sent him to jail for five year imprisonment with imposition of fine worth 20,000.

In another case of almost similar nature, the ATC judge granted bail to two accused Umar and Zulqarnain. The accused were arrested over having material of hatred and provocation. The court granted them bail against surety bond of worth Rs 200,000. The case was registered in Sheikhpura district.
