PESHAWAR: Afghanistan Ambassador Dr Omar Zakhilwal has said that his country will not allow anyone to use its soil against Pakistan.

Addressing Afghan refugees at Afghan Consulate here on Thursday, he said that the Afghan government has no access to the location where head of Tehreek-e-Taliban Mullah Fazlullah was hiding.

He called for collective efforts to deal with challenges being faced by both the neighboring countries. The Afghan envoy said that a few elements were not in favour of peace and creates hurdles.

“People of both the countries want peace,” he said. He said 0.9 million registered and 0.6 million unregistered Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan. The Afghan envoy assured the refugees that he will discuss problems faced by them with senior officials.
