LAHORE (Online) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that we will congratulate the ruling alliance when the deposed judges are reinstated otherwise the future strategy of the All Parties Democratic Alliance would be severe protest. Addressing the Insaf Student Federation Convention here on Friday, he hoped that the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Pakistan Muslim League-N would fulfill their promises with regard to reinstatement of deposed judges as per Murree Declaration. Senior vice president Ijaz Chaudhary, central convener ISF Ahmed, convener ISF Punjab University Kamran Khan and other leaders also addressed on the occasion. The future strategy would be devised from platform of the APDM if the judiciary were not restored as pre-November 03 position, he said, adding that, reinstatement of deposed judges sans chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary would not be acceptable. Strongly criticising National Reconciliation Ordinance promulgated by the president, he said, those people who were involved in corruption amounting to billion of rupees and even the murder had been released through the NRO, which was shameful. Loans worth Rs 55 billion were write off during last 5 years, Imran said, adding, today Pakistan owed Rs 5.75 trillion. Rs 1.5 billion were utilised over visit of President Musharraf to different foreign countries and it could not yield any positive result, the chairman PTI noted. The PTI could tackle the Muttahida Qaumi Movement by imparting fighting training to 200 youngsters but we believed on politics based on non-violence, he said. We wanted such type of judiciary in the country where weak and strong were equal before it, he maintained. The PTI would take decision about participation in by-elections in the light of strategy to be devised by the APDM, he concluded.
