PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said the reinstatement of judges is an issue which should be solved through a formula. "We want a solution to the issue without disturbing the sitting judges", Zardari opined while talking to a private TV channel on Friday. He said the issues of roti, kapra aur makan, ensuring uninterrupted electricity and Balochistan were more important than the restoration of judiciary. "We are committed to solve all those issues which we have inherited from the previous regime," he said. "We have included Aitzaz Ahsan, Hafeez Pirzada and other legal experts in the five-member committee which has been set up to find out a solution to the judicial crises." He said he believed in the sovereignty and supremacy of the Parliament, asking "how can I accept the President above the Parliament?". He further said the PPP wanted to strengthen the Parliament and a democratic system in the country. To a question, he said the PPP activists played a vital role in the lawyers' movement. When asked about reports that he has expressed his willingness for a political reconciliation with the PML-Q if Ch Shujaat is removed from the post of party president, Zardari categorically denied this, saying "I have not sent such a message." Meanwhile, talking to VoA on telephone, Zardari said all the issues related the judges' reinstatement had been settled as per Murree Declaration. He said the deposed judges would be restored as per 'Murree Accord' through a resolution under a constitutional package. "PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif has given all the details in this connection", he said. To another question, the PPP Co-Chairman said the coalition would sustain, and he was quite hopeful in this regard. "The coalition is not based on one-point agenda only, but it is for a democratic and stable Pakistan," he maintained. When asked about an offer of cooperation made by PML-Q leader Mushahid Hussain over the judicial crises, Zardari said, "Mushahid should keep his advices to himself, and we don't need them".
