QUETTA - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Ideological), a staunch supporter of Taliban staged a protest rally against the killing of Al-Qaeda head Osama Bin Laden in a pre- dawn US-led operation in Abbotabad, accusing PPP and Maulana Fazalur Rehman of his involvement in what it termed 'martyrdom of supreme Islamic fighter. The protest rally led by Maulana Asmatullah, Member National Assembly and head of the party started from its central office at Najamuddin Road and after passing through various roads it culminated into a gathering at Meezan Chowk. The participants who were over 1,000 in number were kept chanting slogans against United States and PPP government for action that resulted into killing of Osama, the most wanted man of the world. While addressing the gathering Maulana Asmatullah said that Osama Bin Laden was indeed a hero of Islamic world in his life for challenging the great Satin - United States - the biggest enemy of Islam. He said after his martyrdom Osama had got the title of supreme Mujahid (Islamaic fighter). He said that the US action at least proved that American agents in shape of CIA personnel and employees of notorious Blackwater were roaming in Pakistan on their free will. And, he said, it was also proved that US could launch operation where it wanted ignoring the international laws violating the territorial boundaries and modesty of any country. The other speakers said that United States would make a mistake if thought that Al-Qaeda would be wiped out after killing of Osama and declared it would become more and more strong as it was the name of a thought and a movement of downtrodden people of Muslim world.
