OKARA - Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said that Yousaf Raza Ali Gilani was the constitutional prime minister of Pakistan.

“if Nawaz Sharif is unwilling to second him, it doesn’t matter. The prime minister will not tender his resignation. Detailed verdict of the Supreme Court has not come out yet and right to appeal lies with the premier,” he said while talking to the media. He added that during the PML-N’s regime, the Supreme Court was attacked and termed it Nawaz Sharif’s an undemocratic way. He added Mr Gilani had full support of allied parties.

“Instead of hatching conspiracies, Sharif Brothers should do politics. The PPP does not care for long marches and threats of protest. The PML-N can do what it wants and it will reap nothing except humiliation,” he said. He also disclosed that the government had released a grant of Rs2 million each for 49 union councils for developmental projects. He added work on these schemes would start soon.
