LAHORE - UK Prime Minister David Cameron once again appreciated the efforts and commitment of Shahbaz Sharif in connection with proper utilisation of British aid in Punjab, and said that the aid yielded positive results due to personal interest of the chief minister.  He said with utmost satisfaction that the British aid is being properly utilised through Shahbaz Sharif who, he noted, is spending UK financial assistance on the welfare of the people.
Cameron said that sincerity and dedication of Shahbaz Sharif for the welfare of the people of Punjab is highly appreciable. He said that the steps taken by Shahbaz has not only benefited the Punjab people but also largely contributed to improving image of the country. He expressed the hope that the Pakistani government would continue to work for strengthening democracy and upholding rule of law.
