KARACHI:  At least seven accused, including three-member gang of target killers, were arrested during separate operations in different parts of Karachi on late Monday night.

According to details, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Police conducted an operation on a tip-off and apprehended three-member gang of target killers involved in firing at the City Wardens’ mobile van.

The CTD sources informed that the arrested target killers were also involved in killing of security guard of MQM leader Nasreen Jalil and a man and his daughter.

Police conducted an operation in Pirabad area of Orangi Town and arrested a fake CTD official named Abdullah. Police have also recovered arms from his possession.

On the other hand, police conducted an operation in Gulshan-i-Maymar area and apprehended three accused. Police also recovered a stolen oil tanker from them.
