KOHAT - Kohat Police arrested 44 suspected militants on Sunday. The arrested militants are nationals of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chechnya. According to DPO Kohat, Kohat Police intercepted a vehicle, bearing registration number 7775, and arrested all the persons aboard as they were traveling without any legal documents. They were going to Karachi from Peshawar. According to the DPO, eight women and nine children were among the arrested persons. Online adds: Three missiles were fired in Angoor Adda from Afghanistan, however, there was no loss of life in the incident. The missiles were fired from Paktika province of Afghanistan in night of Saturday and Sunday. Tribesmen staged a strong protest in Wana against US missile attacks and violation of US drones. The participants chanted slogans against US and demanded to stop the killing of innocent citizens. In Mohmand Agency, nine tribal elders have been kidnapped by the militants. These tribal elders had played as the role of mediator in the release of kidnapped security officials. Militants also occupied a high school in Mandokheel.
