Minister for Women Development Sherry Rehman has said the government is in the process of making a legislation called 'Protection of Women from Harassment Act in order to create an enabling environment for women at the workplace. The act will ensure women subjected to sexual harassment at work place have a legal recourse available to them. I would just like to add that why make a gender-specific Act when, in some cases, the harassment at workplace is being done by women too.
