At least seven people were injured and 100 sacrificial goats killed when a truck turned turtle here in Rahimyar Khan on early Thursday morning. According to police, cattle traders were transporting sacrificial goats from Sindh to Gujranwala when the truck turned turtle after driver fell asleep near Mianwali Queshian, at National Highway. As a result of the accident 100 sacrificial goats were killed and seven people sustained injuries. The injured people were shifted to local hospital for medical treatment and according to hospital their condition was stable. The affected cattle traders claimed that goats killed in the accident were worth Rs 3.5 million and they have been ruined. They appealed the government for financial assistance as the cattle killed were their lifelong asset and they have been left empty handed.
